An electric vehicle charging station supplies electric energy for the recharging of electric vehicles. This includes plug-in electric vehicles, electric cars and plug-in hybrids.

Being up to 2.5x faster than charging with a 3 pin plug, home vehicle charging points are fitted with certified protection from overheating and are the most cost-effective charging solution for your car.

OLEV funding for Electric Residential Vehicle Charging (EVHS)

SDA Facilitates Management is accredited with the Office of Low Emissions Vehicles (OLEV) for the installation of grant funded Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme (EVHS). The government funding subsidises the cost of installing a residential electric vehicle charging station for owners/primary users of electric vehicles. The grant allows us to reclaim the money spent on installing your charging stations up to £500. All residential electric vehicle charging station (EVHS) installed under the Office of Low Emissions Vehicles (OLEV) will come with a 3 year warranty as standard.

To be eligible for an EV charging station funded by OLEV, an individual must:

• Keep an Electric Vehicle, which can be new, pre-owned or leased

• Become the registered keeper

• Provide evidence of keepership

• Have a suitable domestic property for installation

• Have suitable off-road parking

For customers who are not eligible for a grant funded installation, we can provide bespoke charging options at competitive prices.

We are approved installers of electric car charging point manufacturers EO Charging, Smart EV, MyEnergi and Rolec EV.

OLEV Workplace Charging Scheme Grant (WCS)

SDA Facilitates Management is accredited with the Office of Low Emissions Vehicles (OLEV) for the installation of workplace grant funded car chargers (WCS).The Workplace Charging Scheme is a voucher-based scheme that provides support towards the up-front costs of the purchase and installation of electric vehicle charge points. All workplace grant funded car chargers (WCS) installed under the Office of Low Emissions Vehicles (OLEV) will come with a 3 year warranty as standard.

• Businesses can apply for their WCS vouchers for 75% of the installation costs capped at a maximum of £500 per socket outlet (inc VAT) (up to 20 maximum or £10,000).

• To subsidise the installation of EV charging infrastructure at workplaces for the use of staff, visitors and fleet vehicles.

• You don’t have to have electric vehicles.

• You can also demonstrate that you intend to encourage their uptake with the installation of workplace charging.
